By the way, none of those losses occurred to my Freighter since I never bought one yet.

All of those losses occurred in industrial, "Itty V", and Transport ships, whether BR or DST.

Regardless, I am more concerned about the financial aspect of the collateral.
I am concerned about how I will get the collateral back.
I am concerned about if I will get the collateral back from piracy.
I am concerned about if I will have to get the collateral back by Bounty Hunting.
I am concerned about if I will have to trade on the Character Bazaar due to time constraints.

And I am also concerned about how I will be able to get the collateral back from piracy.
(Which collateral I lost due to piracy, as other player pirates attacked me.)

Lately, I started to loose some assets due to other causes but it allowed me to improve Covert Warfare.
